National Award winner and the man of the hour, Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to entertain the audience once again with his upcoming humourous film ‘Dream Girl‘. In an exclusive chat with ETimes, the super-talented actor revealed what aspect of the film makes him happy post its release.

When quizzed about what would put a giant smile on his face on Friday; box office numbers or good reviews, Ayushmann said, “It should have a good opening and at the same time people should laugh out loud in theatres for two hours because this film is slapstick, it is out there, there is a suspension of disbelief but it is pure entertainment.”

Furthermore, the charismatic actor even revealed how ‘Badhaai Ho’ has given his career the much-needed boost. “Traditionally, my films have been word of mouth but that has changed now with ‘Badhaai Ho’ in a big way. And we are expecting a good opening with ‘Dream Girl’ also as the buzz is there and it is trending really well and the traction is good. This is going to be my biggest release in terms of screens are concerned and I am expecting my biggest opening as well. I am very practical like that. I hope everybody loves the film and they find humour sustainable for two hours because I have tried something different. I have been known for my subtle acting, this is something out there.”

The film which is helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa will feature Ayushmann play the character of Pooja who listens to everyone’s problem and comforts the listeners who call her.

The film also features Nushrat Bharucha, Annu Kapoor, Nidhi Bisht, Rajesh Sharma, Abhishek Banerjee and Raj Bhansali in pivotal roles and is scheduled to release on 13th September this year.
