BHOPAL: Minister for higher education Jeetu Patwari on Wednesday advised BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya “to keep control over his language”.
Patwari’s comment comes a day after Vijayvargiya challenged the Kamal Nath government over the likely reopening of the 15-year-old pension scam case. The BJP national general secretary had said, “Jo ukhaar na hai, ukhaar le”.
Speaking to reporters, Jeetu Patwari said, “Pension scam, Simhastha scam, sapling plantation scam, Vyapam scam, e-tendering scam will all be investigated. This is a matter relating to the state’s coffers. All these irregularities will be probed because it relates to public money. Probe will not be out of malefide intentions.”
Patwari further said, “Kailash Vijayvargiya should keep control over his language. I have said several times that he is a leader from Indore who represents the city at the national level. His language and behavior is unbecoming of his personality. This is unacceptable in public life. I am younger than him and can only advice. What the younger generation is learning from him has already been witnessed.”
Congress MLA from Kala Peepal seat, Kunal Choudhary also took on the BJP leader for his choice of words. “What kind of mentality is this that a leader cannot even speak the right kind of words? Kailash Vijayvargiya is making such comments out of fear and anxiety. And if he has no connection with the pension scam, then why is he purposely giving such statements?” Kunal Choudhary asked.
